"We've been building storm doors for 57 years and have a history of adding value in our products, understanding our customer needs, and sharing in our success with our employees," President and CEO Jeff Rief said.

This is one of many milestones in Larson Manufacturing’s long-standing history. The 50 million unit count surpasses production of all other storm door or storm window manufacturers.

"It took us more than 50 years to accomplish this, and took the commitment of many people such as you," Chairman of the Board Dale Larson said at the commemorative ceremony.

"I remember my dad telling me, 'If we could only sell one hundred doors a week, we’d be on easy street.' I also remember working in the factory one summer day when I was in high school, making 12 doors in eight hours. I thought that was pretty good, but it was quite a way from 50 million," Larson said.

According to Rief, the driving force behind Larson's exceptional product quality and service is the more than 1,500 employees

"LARSON employees take great pride in the product they build and it shows," Rief said.

Larson Manufacturing is family owned and has grown into the largest manufacturer of storm doors and storm windows in the United States.
